Tomorrow is thanksgiving, one of my favorite days! I love that there is one day in the year when people can reflect on what life is really about...being truly overhwelmed with thankfulness ! For me , giving thanks to God is what has healed me, given me joy, a purpose and made me cling to the Lord. " Be JOYFUL always, PRAY continually, give THANKS in all circumstances, for this is Gods will." 1 Thess 5: 16 My heart is so utterly grateful to God for the blessing of my amazing husband Ryan and our precious daughter Taylor!

Mexico

My cuz from minnesota got married last weekend at my parents beach house in mexico, it was so amazing and beautiful! My little bro married them and my big bro did the music. My mom did the flowers and I did her makeup, nicole took the pictures and ry did the wedding video...wow...it was such a blessing to be all together for this big day! Cant wait for more mexcio memories... this place is a touch of heaven!

We spent the day last week at San Onofre, to celebrate my brothers 25th birthday! Such a perfect day! Tay loved watching the boys surf and had to show off her own moves...loved this shot my
sister n law took! Watch out shes hangin 10!

Ry took me out to the montage for dinner, what a man, for my 29th birthday on the 29th of October...loved the time with my hub!
For my birthday Tay made me a pretend cake...she is my lifes biggest blessing!

I got tagged!

I have been tagged by my sister n law, Nicole to write 7 interesting facts about myself. Needless to say this was pretty intense for me because I dont stop and think about myself..something I dont do that often while raising a 18 month old! So hears what I got!

1. I hate to wash my hair! Really, I try to go as long as possible with having to do the hour long process. Its become a real problem where I am debating to just cut my hair, except my husband loves it not washed and crazy...thats what I get for marrying a wild man!

2. I love love coffee in the morning!I think the fact that in college, I worked at the coffee cart on campus and worked at Bad Ass Coffee House on balboa island, i got hooked! I never go without it, and i use to be your addict in the starbucks line, then I moved on to coffee bean, and now I am a proud stay at home mom who thinks the coffee I make.. is the best! Got to love the fact Im saving money as well, $3.70 a day adds up quickly!

3. I want to live on an island. Honetly who doesnt? I love the water..the smell, the view, the sand, everything overwhelmes me and makes me feel more alive! I feel like one day God will send us to Australia, or Maui.. !

4.Im a post surgical makeup artist. After my accident, about a year after I went to makeup school, face still burned and decided to pursue a career in the postsurgical field to help others like myself with facial scars. I loved this time in my life and would not trade it for anything! I then started my own business called " Hope Artistry" where I was a buyer from classified spray on foundation! I then resold the product to burn suriviors and others. I later sold the company after I got married. My heart is still called to work with burn survivors!

5. I secretly have an adventures spirit! I really do want to travel the world, but many know me as someone who cant decide what is right. I mean I want everything to be perfect, planned, paid for! I hasitate way too much...Im working on this and I am happy to say that with in this last year we have travel alot with Taylor in tow! I think my spirit has changed to be more excepting of the unknown!

6. I have been told I would be a good psycologist! Since i was little i would..try to figure people out! I am told that I came into the world not crying, just staring at everything with big eyes! Its funny because my daughter is the same way! I like to listen to others...most of the time, to read there body language, get a sense of what is really going on...I really should start doing some classes on line! But some of the time it is all to exhausting to think about!

7. I would snowboard every day if i could! Ryan proposed to me on the top of Mammoth Mountain, and we basically fell in love threw snowboarding together. I am no pro, I just simply love the snowy mountains, hot chocolate, the thrill of going up the lift and enjoying the ride down the mountain side. Plus, fresh powder is a touch of heaven to me. It awakens my soul..makes me feel free and in Gods creation!

We went to the pumpkin patch with the Keenedys last week...soo fun! Taylor was so excited to go on the rides..the crazyer the better! She played on the hay, rode in a wagon...(which I still need to get buy one cause she loved it)
We call Taylor, "punks" alot...short for our little pumpkin!

Tay amazes me daily...she is so joyful...so aware..and so talkive...and 18months old this week!

Taylor is growing up more every day, she's talking like crazy( puting two words together) and completey understands so much of what we say! I love her cheerfull and yet observant spirit!

Last weekend Ry and I headed up to LA for our friends 30th birthday! Such a killer time!

So we are packing up and heading to the lake for a few days today....so excited for sun and fun! Taylor gets to sleep in nana and paps rv while ry and I tent it! I love these times away...just relaxing and days full of wakeboarding and the peace of just being on the water... my soul always feels more alive near water! In a book I have been reading, she quotes " The beauty of environment God designed for us to live in has the power to move us to tears and gives us a sense of joy and appreciation of life". Enjoy today...taste and see the Lord is good!!!

Sweet Potatoe

Little Artist!

I cant sleep...my mind keeps repeating something that a paramedic said to me while I was in the ambulance back when i had my accident. He said," I had nails in my eyes and I can see, you will see again". I keep thinking what is this Lord? I am so utterly grateful for my eyesight and I give you all the praise, but why are you bringing this sentence to mind that i cant get it out of my head tonight! It has been a few nights now that I have struggled to fall asleep. I have been wanting to write a book for years now about my journey threw getting burned and the scars that are left behind as a reminder. how do I begin to write a book?

Lately tay has been into wearing my clothes and jewerly...she is such a girly and i love it!
We got Disneyland passes last week and took tay for the first time, lets just say it was amazment overload and we are still recovering!

On sunday night calvery church did a concert for a cause...and project hangout was the cause! We were able to raise awarness and encouraged others to support! It was a great night with so many of our dear friends and family!

The first week of August we celebrtated our 4 year anniversary in santa barbara and also attented my sweet friend Amanda's wedding....so fun seeing so many friends from high school...it kinda prepared me for my 10 year reunion in October!
